- Completion of an apprenticeship as an IT specialist (m/f/d) with substantial professional experience or a degree coupled with practical knowledge.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows (server) environments.
- Previous experience with cloud architectures, such as AWS and Azure.
- Knowledge of common database systems and web application servers, such as MSSQL and Tomcat.
- Excellent command of both German and English languages.
- A strong desire to learn and expand knowledge in the field.
- Leadership experience or a comprehensive professional background, with the aspiration to take on the responsibility of managing a team of four system administrators, including budget responsibility.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Contributing to the strategic direction of the cloud environment and overseeing the system admin team’s activities.
- Conceptualizing and preparing the adaptation and expansion of the existing cloud infrastructure to meet business needs.
- Managing and maintaining Docker- and Kubernetes-based environments, including the management of container images.
- Developing and operating a robust monitoring system to ensure the performance and capacity of the systems.
- Administering firewall configurations, network routing, DomainController/ActiveDirectory, and other security components.
- Handling the resolution of emerging issues and providing IT support at the 1st and 2nd levels.
- Creating comprehensive technical documentation, including reports on network infrastructure and security measures. – Please note that the above responsibilities are not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned based on the needs of the organization.
